Craftastic Tuesday: Cereal Box Organizer Tutorial

Now we know that recycling is a great thing. But it is best when you can make it into something useful. I've had several people ask about how I made my cereal box dresser organizer (look here). So I thought a tutorial would be in order. So here we go.
First you'll need some cereal boxes, or any other recyclable items.

Cover your boxes in contact paper of your choice.
Draw the shape of your cut. You'll use this pattern on both sides.
See how it looks when it is finished. =)
Here is the top. This can be cut again and used as another piece for the organizer.
This is the top of the cake box. I'm going to use it to create a rectangular container.
Slice on both sides of the cake box top.
Fan it out like this.
Fold it to the center and tuck it inside.

Glue the sides down and cut your box to the size you would like.
Cover your paper towel roll in contact paper. Cut it down to about an inch shorter than the pencil.
And Voila!!! Isn't it lovely.
See it is functional...and it was free!!!! Lovely!
See! It was so easy. And I totally used my hot glue gun!!!
