As we all know, hopefully, I started this blog about 6 months ago to help me be more efficient in "Getting My Crap Together". I figured, since it is a new year that I needed to check up on myself a bit. (Need the story behind the blog? Check it out here.)
Below are some of the goals I put together for myself. In reviewing, I could use a bit more help. But I am slowly getting there. If you have blogs, articles, ideas or just a suggestion for how to help me in this....please, please, please, leave a comment or you can always email me.
Create a family calendar ***Done
Have a personal daily planner (I have one, I just need to use it more)
Schedule in LAUNDRY (Umm.....does Saturday's count)
Organize our office space and my sewing/craft area ***DONE (Now if only it would stay that way!!)
Create a Household Inventory list in case of fire (****Almost DONE)
DO THE LAUNDRY (hehehe.....)
Put everything back when I'm done and train the family to do the same (starting to be successful)
Finish husbands scrapbook (Don't ask)
Create a budget that is realistic and stick to it (could use some good ideas here)
Sit down as a family and discuss long term and short term goals including vacations, large purchases, and fun activities (here also)
Food and Health:
Create a monthly/weekly menu of healthy, nutritious meals; make freezer meals regularly ***DONE
Exercise at least 3-4 times a week (HAPPY NEW YEAR RIGHT!)
Floss (still working to do this. It's a new year right!)
Finish the books I've started before starting another (Doing okay here)
Take time to read to/with family (Reading with the baby a lot! And loving it)
Weed flower beds at least once every two weeks (Okay, it is winter)
Attend church as a family regularly (Good)
Read from the scriptures daily (Okay)
Pray as a family and on my own (Good)
Find time to serve others (doing what I can. Any ideas would be great.)
I'd love to have your ideas a suggestions. Links or blogs you use. Whatever you would provide. I know we are all looking to keep our lives more in order.
Also, please share your New Years Resolutions with us. It is great to know we are not alone in what we need to improve on!
Happy New Year!!!
