Garlic Mashed Potatoes

We had pulled pork last week and I really felt like we needed potatoes. But I didn't want baked potatoes. So I looked online and decided mashed would be best. The recipes I saw said to use the grill but I just toasted the garlic on my stove-top.
Wash, peel, and cut potatoes then add to a boiling pot of water.
When potatoes are soft enough, drain all the water.
Put your potatoes in a stand mixer or use a hand mixer. Add milk, butter, and garlic and mix until smooth.
They are delicious.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes
7-8 medium potatoes
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped and toasted
3 Tbsp Milk
1/2 c. butter or margarine

Peel, wash, and slice potatoes. Add potatoes to boiling water. Potatoes are done when a fork can slice through them easily. Meanwhile, toast chopped garlic in 1 tsp. of oil on the stove-top. Drain potatoes and place in a bowl. Add milk, butter and garlic. Mix until potatoes are smooth.
