I love lasagna, but it can be expensive and time consuming. But I recently managed to experiment a bit with some ingredients and came up with this little dish. Even my husband said it was good which is saying something because he is not a pasta person.
Then cottage cheese mixture and top with mozzarella. Continue layers until done. Finish by topping with cheese.
3 cups frozen ravioli
2 cups pasta sauce
1 1/2 cups cottage cheese
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, chredded
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix the cottage cheese, egg and Parmesan cheese in a bowl. In a greased 8x8 baking pan, layer the pasta sauce, then ravioli, then cottage cheese mix, and top with mozzarella. Continue layering until done, ending with mozzarella. Place uncovered in oven for 30-40 minutes until hot and bubbly.
