Teriyaki Chicken & Pepper Kabobs


Mmmm...Teriyaki.  This is such an easy recipe, you'll be so happy to have it!

First, chop up your chicken into about 1/2 inch pieces.  Place in teriyaki sauce for about 30 minutes.  Meanwhile, chop your veggies.  I usually do peppers and onions and sometimes tomatoes.

Now place chicken and veggies on separate skewers. You don't want them on the same skewers because they won't cook correctly.  You veggies will be done before you chicken is and then you'll burn them.  Take it from a girl who knows, just keep them separate.  Grill on low for about 10 minutes or so.  Make sure to watch them!!!  You can also spray them with cooking spray to help keep them from sticking.

PS  If you use wooden skewers, make sure to put them into water for at least 30 minutes before placing veggies or meat on them.  Otherwise they will burn really quickly on your grill.  Again, I speak from experience.

Grilled Teriyaki Chicken and Peppers

1 chicken breast
1 green pepper
1 onion
Teriyaki sauce
Skewers

Chop chicken and vegetables into 1/2 inch pieces.  Place chicken into teriyaki sauce for about 30 minutes.  Meanwhile, skewer your vegetables rotating between peppers and onions.  Next, skewer your chicken.  Spray both chicken and vegetables with cooking spray.  Place on a hot grill on low for 10 minutes or until tender and cooked thoroughly.
