31 Days of Halloween: Peanut Crunch Caramel Apples


Halloween is not complete without so caramel apples!  Mmmm.....

First, put a kabob stick through your clean apples

Combine your brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and sweet and condensed milk.  Melt away until they reach the soft ball stage.

Meanwhile, blend up your peanut butter M&M's.

Don't want to big of pieces.

Dip your apples and roll in your M&M's.

Enjoy!

Caramel Syrup

1/4 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
dash salt
1/2 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 tsp vanilla 
6-7 apples
6-7 kabob sticks
1 small package of peanut butter M & M's

Wash and dry apples.  In a food processor, blend package of M&M's until size you want them.  Place in a bowl for dipping later.

In a saucepan, melt butter.  Add brown sugar, corn syrup and salt.  Cook over medium heat until boiling.  Add milk.  Cook and stir until it reaches the firm-ball stage.  Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.  Insert kabob sticks into apples.  Dip apples into caramel and then coat with  peanut M & M's.  Place on wax paper and refrigerate until firm.
