31 Days of Halloween: Spiderweb Pot Pies

I thought this might be a fun way to celebrate fall and Halloween!  And the best part is, you have some great leftovers for work the next day!

First, mix up your filling.  Mine is chicken, celery, carrots, onions, some chicken broth and milk.

Now pour this into some small custard cups or souffle cups.

Take refrigerator dough and cut it into whatever shape you want.  I did spirals and straight lines.  Then bake.

It should look a bit like this when you are done!  You could even add a spider ring or make one with olives.

Spider Pot Pie

2 chicken breast, cooked and chopped
1/4 c. flour
2 Tbsp butter
2 c. chicken broth
1c. milk
1 c. water
3 carrots, chopped
2 celery sticks, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can refrigerator rolls

Combine flour and butter in hot stockpot.  Blend.  Gradually add chicken broth, milk and water.  Add carrots, celery and onion.  Simmer until veggies are tender and liquid has thickened.  Pour into small custard cups, souffle dishes or even bowls.  Top with refrigerator rolls cut into spiderwebs.  Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
