Pattern Box

If you are anything like me, you have too many patterns.  (Just ask my husband.)  I love digital patterns!!  I have been creating my own (like for my ETSY Shop) and I love Peek-a-Boo Patterns (check out the link on the sidebar), so I keep downloading them.  But I have no where to put them, so they just keep stacking up on tables, chairs, desks, you name it.

So I have finally devised a system that seems to be working for me.  Or until my box fills up!

I got a box. A small enough one that I could put it on my table.  I covered it with some contact paper.

Next, I used file folders to label and stash all my patterns.  Since I don't have a filing cabinet, this was my best choice.

I placed in on my table and now I have some space on my table at home!  Nice huh!

I love getting organized!!!  It makes me feel so productive.

Don't have any patterns?  Check out the sidebar for our Etsy Patterns and Peek-a-boo Patterns!  They have some great patterns to add to your pattern box!

  1. That's a great idea! I have also started downloading patterns, and after using them, I don't know where to put them... they're too big for a normal file folder, so the stash keeps growing on my seing desk, leaving so little space for real sewing :)
