PR&P: Peasantly Shirr Tunic Top Signature Look

I have really been enjoying Project Run & Play.  This is my first season being able to participate fully.  It was great to be creative and really think about what I wanted to make for my little ones.  It was also great fun getting to know some of the other participants and taking time to be inspired!

This weeks challenge was to make your signature look.  So I thought, why not start with my first ever pattern the Peasantly Shirr Pattern.

I started by shortening the dress pattern to make it into tunic length.  I shirred the waist and the sleeves.

Because we all know my little obsession with shirring.  And if you don't know, check out THIS post, or THIS post, or even THIS post.

Then I decided to use Peek-a-Boo Patterns Classic Chinos Pattern for the pants.  I love the Classic Chinos.  They look so professional and they fit perfect.  The don't fall off even when she is crawling around the house!  So go get you the pattern HERE.

Overall, I think it is the perfect expression of me and this little girl.  Super simple and classic, but still fun!
