Do you like Elton Brown? I'm not sure that he is my favorite. He confuses me. Sometimes he seems really fun and other times he scares me just a bit. Okay, I know you are like WHAT? Well you can thank our friend Elton for this recipe, or at least the idea.
I teach a lesson on cheese to my students every year. I show an episode of Good Eats to them and Elton shares this little recipe for Homemade Cheese Spread.
You know how easy it is? Blend cheese and chicken broth...the end! I know right! But really it is the best!!
Great for the holidays! Through what you have leftover from one party together to serve for the next party! I mean it. Throw it all together!
Homemade Cheese Spread
1/2 c. cheddar cheese, cubed
1/2 c. mozzarella cheese, cubed
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, cubed
1/4 c. cream cheese, cubed
(and any other cheese you have or want to add)
1/2 c. chicken broth
Combine cheeses and chicken broth in blender and blend until smooth and creamy. About 5 minutes. Serve with crackers or veggies.
