PR&P: Repurposing Challenge

This week for Project Run and Play, the theme was Repurposing.  So I decided to have some fun.

I used some old jeans and two tshirts.  One was my husbands and one was mine.

I decided to do a sort of rag skirt.  I had a roommate in college who did something similar.  And I always wanted to try it.

So I cut out the denim and the tshirt and laid them on top of each other.  Then I stitched my design.

Took my scissors to it and then washed.  Add a waistband with some pink knit.

Then made a little cardigan with some short sleeves to go on top.  The cardi is a bit big, but I want it to fit for the summer months.

Now, the challenge is to get her to stay in one place long enough to get a picture.  We were fairly successful.  She did have the phone.

Thought it turned out pretty cute.  Maybe not my favorite ever, but still cute.
