Lime Creme Cake


This recipe is SO good!

I used this mix.  It is AWESOME!
Key Lime Cake Mix
Lime Creme Cake

1 box Key Lime Cake Mix
1 1/4 c. water
1 Tbsp Oil
4 eggs

Filling:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
3/4 c whipping cream
1/4 c. lime juice

Frosting:
1 c. whipping cream
1/4 c sugar

Mix cake mix, water, oil and eggs until well blended.  Place in 9 x 13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or toothpick comes out clean.  Remove from oven and cool 10 minutes.  Meanwhile, combine sweetened condensed milk, whipping cream and lime juice in a bowl.  Using the end of a wooden spoon, poke about 2/3 of the way through the cake about every 2 inches.  Make sure not to poke all the way through to the bottom.  Slowly pour filling over the cake.  Place cake in refrigerator for 1 hour.  Whip together whipping cream and sugar until stir.  Slice cake and top each individual piece with a bit of whip cream.
