Today I am sharing a little project I made from my friend Emily's from Tangible Pursuits pattern, the Fox Lovey Pattern (affiliate). If you remember from a few weeks back I shared my FREE Fox Coin Pouch. My son adores it and wants everything fox inspired now. Emily approached me and asked if I would be willing to try out her Fox Lovey. Of course I said YES!! Let me tell you my son LOVES it too!! I know it is meant for babies, but my 4 year old is carting it around the house!
So let me tell you a bit about the pattern. Emily has some great directions. I do enjoy a great with softie type patterns. I have a made a few like the Mr. Turtle Softie or the Faux Chenille Bunny. Emily includes all the pattern pieces to make this fox and the directions. Great step by step pictures. She suggests to use fleece or minky. I decided to make mine with knit fabrics since it was going to be for my 4 year old. I also decided to make him a Bronco's fan as my husband is a HUGE BSU Football fan, so naturally my son is too.
Everything is sewn with a machine except for the eyes and nose. But those were really easy to add. Overall, I am quite happy with the outcome. I am pretty sure there will be more foxes in our future.
Now for the fun!! One lucky winner will get this awesome pattern!! So make sure to sign up to win AND check out some of the other great fox lovey's out there!
