Today for the Fall Children's Clothing Series, I thought I'd share what I have put together for my baby girl. It has been fun sewing for a girl. I looked at her wardrobe yesterday and laughed because everything is pink. I need to make more of an effort to use other colors. But she is a girl after all.
To start, her staple item in her wardrobe this fall is also the Rival Raglan. (I shared all of brothers Rival Raglan's yesterday on the blog along with a free printable list to start your child's wardrobe.)
Above you can see 3 of the Rival Raglans. The first is the tunic with 3/4 sleeves, then the top with short sleeves and the dress with short sleeves. Love them all.
Next is the Tinley Tee. I love the green on her with her red hair. (If you want to make your own hair bows, check out the Mini Korker Bow Tutorial) The Tinley Tee has several sleeve lengths. Another reason I love it. My favorite is the layered sleeve option. You can see more pictures of the layered sleeve and those cute Love Me Knot Shorts Here.
Next is the Firecracker Dress. You might think this is not a fall look, but layer your dress with some leggings and the Tinley Tee and you have a year round look.
For a cute casual dress, try out Peekaboo Patterns Hangout Hoodie. You can't loose with this one. Isn't it darling?! Pair that with Go To Patterns Leggings and you've got a winner.
This is the Zander Hoodie from EYMM. Check out some more pictures HERE. Great look for both boys and girls.
Finally, this is my next pattern project. This sweet fleece jacket. Has a hood and some simple gathering in the front. Hopefully I can get it in to testing by the end of the month. We shall see.
Now that my baby girl has some clothes, I think I'll need to look into making me some clothes. Make sure to check back later this week for the FREE Backsak Pattern.
