Today for our Fall Children's Clothing Series we are going to focus on Pajamas. Who doesn't love a great pair of pj's? My kids sure do! AND when they are mommy made they seem to love them even more. So today I have 3 different pajama patterns that I LOVE and want to share with you.
First, the Jean and Jamey Jammies. These really are my favorite pajamas right now. With the changing of the seasons, I love that I can mix and match the tops and bottoms. I can use the short sleeve top with pants or long sleeve top with shorts. My daughter enjoys them but my son LOVES them.
The other thing I love about the Jean and Jamey Jammies is I can make the pants out of woven or knit fabrics!! As much as I love knit fabrics, sometimes my children like a certain print or I find the perfect print in woven. No worries. Make the pants a size larger and make the top in a solid knit to match. Much like the one above. I also cut out a few of the shapes from the flannel fabric and used them as appliques on the top. These are his favorite pjs at the moment.
Or skip the top all together and just make some comfy pants. This is the 4th pair of Jean and Jamey Pants or Shorts I have made my little man. He loves how comfy they are.
The next pajamas are the Shortie Nightgown and Bloomers. This pattern is great for your little girl. I know this isn't a wonderful picture but my daughter is a wiggle worm. The Shortie she is wearing is a size 2 which is a size above for her. Just wanted to make sure it will last the fall and then again in the spring and summer.
Finally, the Winter PJ's by Peekaboo Patterns. This is one of my favorite patterns. I've made many of them like the kids Christmas Pajamas and last falls pajamas. They are a snug fitting pajama which is great for moving around a lot.
I really do love pajamas. If you have a favorite pajama pattern, please feel free to share in the comments and even leave a link. I know I'd love to see them!!
