Fitness Friday: Healthy Snacks

Working to get my pre-baby body back (or at least partially there) I figured it would be smart to find some easy low calorie snacks.

Chocolate Covered Pretzel Sticks
15-20 pretzel sticks
3 tsp. dark or semi-sweet chocolate

Melt the chocolate in the microwave. Dip Pretzel sticks and allow to cool.

Pretzels are usually fat free and chocolate is actually good for you in small quantities. So this is not only a low calorie snack, but a tasty one.

Strawberries and Chocolate Sauce
1C. Strawberries, sliced
2 Tbsp chocolate syrup

Drizzle chocolate over strawberries and enjoy.

Oatmeal and Raspberries
1 packet of oatmeal
Handful of raspberries

Prepare oatmeal according to package instructions. Add berries once cool.

Some other easy, quick, and healthy snacks:
String Cheese
Dried Fruit
Veggies like baby carrots, celery sticks and broccoli
